Some people, many people, seem to have to have someone or something to pile thier hate on; like Aaron said. Some people are capable of letting go of thier hate in the light of truth and better understanding. But it's always worthwhile to try and help people understand, in my oppinion. Why not? The worst that can happen is that they will reject it. At best some may come to understand us and maybe even accept us.

I wish were weren't the targets for almost everyone's hate. But being at the bottom of the ladder does have it's good points. At least we have no one "lower" than ourselves whom we would be tempted to pile our hate on. Well...I guess there are people who are "lower" than us, but hopefully we know better than to hate them just because we can.
