I don't think it would matter. If it did, it would only be a very slight margin. It may even make it worse.

People don't choose the color of their skin or where they are born or how much money they are born into. Yet look at the bigotry that abounds... even among Christians who KNOW better.

It seems people have to have something/someone to hate.
