I guess you need to honour his parents Kristian... and encourage him to do likewise.

Let him know that you care about him just as much as ever... but don't try and come between him and his dad.

I think that if you try and challenge his dad on his parenting you'll only make matters worse for yourself.

I think you would be best in going to them and letting them know that your relationship with your yf is important to you and that you would like to keep it but that you want to do it in a way that they are happy with. If they feel you respect them, they may be more likely to respect you.
