Yup!
It seems to be a fairly reoccurring theme that for most BLers (well, the ones I know at least) sexual attraction is limited or gone during most regular interactions with boys. Maybe that speaks out to what we really want? Maybe most of us only really want to be around a boy and to feel their presence? There may be some sexual part to it, but what we really want is just to be with them. But when we aren't, we still need to fulfill that need. Thus, as we can't fake the fact that they aren't here, we resort to the kind of longing and mediocure satisfaction gained through sexual desires and (self) fulfillment. Or maybe not. I don't know. All I know is that what you noted is true in me, and in a few others I have talked to. Just throwing out ideas ;)
