...is to be unusual, I think. Jesus was unusual with the way He lived and His message of love and forgiveness. I think we are called to be unusual. Maybe God chooses us because we ARE unusual...who knows? The Bible says we are a peculiar people.

I share your view on life, brother. I actually enjoy being a B.L. mostly. True, I do get lonly at times and I sometimes envy people who are my age who are married and have beautiful children, I also understand that God didn't have that life in mind for everyone. But His plan for everyone is a good plan, even though it might be different for some. One thing His plan does include for everyone (and I'm convinced of this) is love. Noone is excluded from that. As Christians we are called to love one another and to show God's love to the world. I believe that B.L.'s have a unique position in this field. There are many unloved children in the world who need us. If anything, we can always do something like sponser a child in another country. We didn't pick our lot in life, but we can choose what we do with it.

Anyway, I am glad to meet you. It's great to see someone in here who has your vision.
