Youth,

First of all, please calm down. I can understand you are hurt, but that is never a reason to strike back.

No matter where you go, or whoever you talk to Youth, there is ultimately someone who will disbelieve you, or take offense at something you said. It's happened to me many times. It will happen to me more in the future. Especially since I have a tendency to only half-explain my own thoughts and why I think the way I do.

And think of it this way, it is GOOD that your post touched off a conversation. Without knowing doubt, how can a person reconcile? Without reconciliation, how can healing come about? Without it, it would fester, and that is how Satan takes ahold of us. He weaves deception from truth and uses it to cause enmity between each other and with God.

Don't hold anger in your heart. If you do, then the Master of Lies has won. Remember what we are taught in Mathew 5:22 "But I say to you that anyone who is angry with a brother will be subjected to judgment. And whoever insults a brother will be brought before the council, and whoever says ‘Fool’ will be sent to fiery hell." It is not the insult that would damn us, but the anger and the hurt that will ultimately consume us.

Youth, by even your own admittance, you are young, and you have many learning experiences ahead of you, Padawan ;) Let this be one. While there may always be some doubt just because of what the internet is, there is never a time when love is absent. That love comes from God and connects us all. Remember, Thomas doubted Jesus as well. He needed the proof from his own eyes and touch. Doubt is a human emotion and it is not necessarily wrong.

The next time doubt is thrust upon you, whether it be here, in real life, or another forum... remain calm and explain the situation. If you need to, step away and think for a while, then come back and tackle it. Never ever take on issues while you are still angry. Anger leads to more anger.
