I had forgotten the Tommyknocker lore.

For those of you who do not know, it is a spirit of either mischeif or benevolence that causes tools etc to come up missing, AND knocks when there is impending doom.

The term originated with miners I belive (as opposed to minOrs heh) who said they heard knocking before caveins. Depending on who you listen to, the knocking was done to dislodge the supports and cause the cave in, OR it was done to warn the miners to get out while there was time.

So Kristian, I am guessing that you using this term denotes that something happened to you (and I am not asking for details) that could have or was a huge huge personal catastrophy, like Saul/Paul's blindness, and it was a wakeup call for you, especially when combined with God's word which was succor for your hurt/fear and nurishment for your hungered soul. (sorry, am just trying to understand)

In another post you mentioned that perhaps they were God's messengers. Well in a way, even Satan's minions do God's bidding though they do it unintentionally. Romans 8:28 God turns ALL things to good, for those who believe in him (paraphrased sorry, didn't look it up)
