A log?? That's a bit extreem, and makes you look afraid. It also would do nothing in a courtroom, because you can easily just not keep a log that incriminates you. I suppose that if you want to go the self-validating evidence route, you could just set up a $100,000 video surveilence system with about 12 terabytes of storage so you can store the next 40 years on it.... but I don't thinks that's really gonna do much.

Sarcasm aside, I think you should:
1) check the exact details of the law and precedent in your area
2) do what you can to not be alone in private with any minor for more than necessary
3) make sure your yf knows the importance of honesty and honor. By this I mean that he should know that he has power over you, that he should not abuse that if he is angry with you for some unforseen reason, but that if anyone at all were to make him do something that made him feel uncomfortable or that he did not want to do that he should tell someone asap, because no matter who that person was, honesty is always the right choice.

I don't think that you need to "sit him down and have a talk with him" but I that if, as relevant situations and questions arise during your relationship, you point out these values to him as part of your 'sage advice'. Honesty is always the right policy, but honor requires that truth never be twisted to serve untrue purposes.

This, as he learns it from your actions and words, will guide him to never make up something to hurt you, but will protect him and you if someone else attacks you about it, or if someone hurts him like one might try to say you might.

I forget if he knows about your attraction or not, but if he does, or if he finds out, then perhaps it might be time to have a formal talk, but I think that just by living as an example of honor, you will instill him with honor, and honor will always be your friend.
