I think you were kinda joking there, but if not, well I would have to turn down your offer. No need for me to see what harm can come from these attractions - I hear about it all the time! No. I would much rather see the LIGHT side of the gift (hmmm, maybe I am a lil scared of the dark ...). Haha, but really. These attractions aren't purely negative. I really enjoyed your metaphor because it depicts one aspect of these attractions in a way that I would deem pretty accurately. But this isn't all bad. There are many positive things that can arise from our orientation! Plus, like I said in some other posts, there is a difference between the love (in its pure form) that we have for boys, and then the lustful desires that often arise from it. These desires, these wants that are likened to that of a vampire, I don't think truly represent boy love. But at the same time are things that every boy lover must live with. Maybe I'm an optimist, but what ever it is, I refuse to think that we are wholly monsters. None the less, I did enjoy the metaphor and thought it helpful! Talk to you soon, oh dark one!
