Just in case it wasn't obvious I was agreeing with Mr Lewis that boylovers are not addicted to boys.

I was disputing the lightness with which Mr Lewis presented the need that rages within.
Perhaps it is so with some men they they do not "burn" in their passions.
Perhaps.
But I know my own hunger.

As to monsters:

The Great Son King bleed for our monstrosity and was hung for it.
If you want to use the Holy Language you could call us "enemies" or "slaves to the prince of the power of the air".
It all spells monster to me.
You may know that you are a redeemed monster, but in all honesty, you are redeemed from your monstrosity.

This is true for all the monstors that make up mankind and not just the vampires.

Further,
for good or ill
rightly or wrongly
They think we are monsters.
They call us monsters.
They treat us like monsters.
We can sit and defend our goodness and our innocence all day long but in their eyes: monsters.
And so we must live and hide as the hunted that we are.

Finally,
Forgive me if I relate to the Vampire 'analogy'.
It has always worked for me.
