Orientation is not addiction so says CSL.
Orientation is a direction of a drive. A drive for intimate social/sexual interaction with mortals.
Drives motivate us to feed needs.
Feeding a natural need is not addiction. It is necessary for survival.
The vampire does not NEED to feed but if he doesn't he becomes weak and the hunger becomes overwhelmingly strong. He can of course live like this but who wants desparate, craving vampires around who can think of nothing but the thirst.
Is not the vampire responsible to see that he does not become like this if it is within his power to do so?
The boylover does not need boymoments so says CSL.
I challenge any "boylover" here to affirm this!
Can you go even a week without feeding your hunger in at least some way. A look, a thought, a smile.
Or do you live in a world without boys.
Enjoy what God brings our way so says CSL.
Indeed. Indeed. Indeed.
Let us strive for such contentment with such grattitude.
When I try to isolate myself from boys my thought life tends to really get dirty so says Dakota.
Perhaps the vampire needs to do some purposeful hunting.
To make an art of the little drink.
So that what 'God brings our way' may not become 'dirty'.
Thinking about getting our 'fix' is not a healthy or necessary way of thinking so says CSL.
The need is not to get a fix.
The need is to have an intimate social/sexual interaction with a mortal.
The hunger drives us to fulfill this need.
Discipline is needed not to feed the hunger in ways that will harm the mortals nor bring the hunters down on the vampire.
To take the pure not the vile.
For though we are monstors our hunger is for beauty and, with gentleness, the flower can be enjoyed without crushing it.
