The hunger in a Vampire makes him want to drink and drink and drink untill there is nothing left in his "lover". Nothing left at all.

But if we can resist the compelling nature of the thrist.

If we can master the 'little drink'.

Take enough without taking all.

Take the good from the boy without sucking every bit of life out of him.

Feeding the thirst but leaving the lad intact.

Then we will have learnt well.

We are monstors but we don't need to be monstorous.
