I was basically relying on seeing a few boys once a week to get me through things and keep me happy...make sure that you aren't relying on that relationship exclusively for happiness.

I'm not relying on this kid for anything. I'm not in this relationship to get happy. I'm in this relationship and its making me happy. If we never see each other again, I'll be grateful for what we've had. I am trying to be very realistic about this relationship... it isn't going to become any big thing... I don't expect to be his next best friend. We move in the same community and we will get a few minutes together here and there... I will enjoy every one of them... and that will be that.

But is it possible that this relationship is only adding insult to injury for your wife?

Now this is something important. The last thing I want is to slap my wife in the face with something I see as quite innocent. I intend to be very careful there. I'm not going chasing after this kid... I have no intention of doing so. I'll see him when I see him... if he comes and says hi then I'm not going to turn him away... and I don't see a problem with me enjoying every minute of it.
