I think you are right about the internet being the devil's playground. Satan is certainly entrenched in cyber space and the net offers a whole world of temptations previously denied to us.

However, I think it is wrong to say that the internet is therefore evil. There is a ton of great and Godly stuff on the net. Take this place for instance.

Like anything, we need to be walking in the Spirit and seeking God for some self-control. The technology is not going away... to escape temptation we either have to avoid the net (which is not easy) or take a very serious and disciplined stand against its dangers. Its easy to treat the thing lightly.... but if we keep in mind that we are at war... that our enemy is active in this place... and we need to be self-disciplined... then I think we can take the internet as Godly ground, just like anything in creation.
