You've already heard my thoughts on what causes pedophilia so there is no need to repeat that. It's your last comment that interested me.

Most straight guys will not admit they prefer younger women even though they do. Most adults find teens to be the most attractive. Mid to late teens that is, not usually until 15 or so. Ancient Greek culture pretty much worshipped the youthful male as the epitome of beauty. The Romans switched that to females but same thing. Older people are always trying to look younger because it is more attractive, you know this is true. Youth symbolizes health, strength, and optimism. If you are American then you have probably seen the late night commercial "Girls Gone Wild". Why do you think so many people want to see college students naked? They are the closest to being teens with still being legal. Why do you think most porn websites and other media are of 18-25yr olds? You know this truth if you really think about it.

I have heard straight men say "If there is grass on the field play ball" and other phrases like that to mean that as soon as somone enters puberty sex is ok. Our current culture has tried to push this out but it is there in all of us. Sex and sexuality is as ancient as life itself and cannot be changed by our new culture. And western moral conventions are extrememly new in even the time of humanity. For most of history marriage was at early puberty not 18. People do not all of a suddenly become sexual on their 18th birthday or their 14th in Canada or whatever age the age of consent is in a paticular country.

It is not a far leap then for some people to only be attracted to teens. For their age of attraction to not go up at all. That's where you get Teen Boy/Girl Lovers. People who are only attracted to teens of one gender or the other or sometimes both.

Then you have people like me who are mostly attracted to the time before that, to before adolscence. Is this really that much of a leap?
