Jesus accused of contractor fraud
Promised resurrections in only three days

After receiving complaints from local homeowners, Jesus Christ has been arrested and charged with contractor fraud.

Christ, a general contractor who officials said started out as a carpenter, is accused of working without a license, making false claims and working without contracts.

“He would tell homeowners he could resurrect their homes in three days,” state Attorney General Charles Foti said. “They thought he was going to be their savior.”

Foti said Christ, who listed his age as 2006, most often would show up on job sites wearing sandals and a robe with no other workers and carrying just two pieces of wood and a few crude tools.
