What advice would you give to someone who was victimized by a minor/adult relationship? (meaning the child was sexualized)

In some cases where a child is in an ongoing sexual relationship with an non-authority-figure (i.e. not a teacher, babysitter, parent, etc.) adult, the severest victimization is on the part of the parents and other adult family members (except, of course, any family members who were part of that relationship - just under half of such relationships involve family members, most of the rest friends or acquaintances).

In other words, if 8 year old Johnny or 12 year old Jenny or 15 year old Chris is having an ongoing sexual relationship with a much-older neighbor, even if the child doesn't feel victimized, the parents almost always do. Also, any other parents in the community may feel collaterally damaged because they would have acted differently if they'd known their neighbor was sexually involved with children.

Ironically, if a person sexually abuses an infant and does not cause physical pain, the infant will likely have no long-term memory and suffer no direct long-term harm. However, if the person who did it is discovered, the fallout can have lifelong repercussions for the child. For example, if a father is arrested and sent away, it will leave the child with one parent and no financial support from the imprisoned father.

In my years online talking to pedophiles, I've heard a small number of "lust-only" pedophiles talk about having or wanting to have oral sex with infants not because the men are especially turned on by infants, but because they can get away with it where they don't think they can get away with doing the same with older children or youth (no witnesses, no evidence, no tattling). Personally, I think that's selfish. If someone wants to have sex with a person who won't love him back and appreciate that sex can be an expression of love, he should go buy yourself an inflatable girlfriend or something.
