Let me first ask what you are meaning when you say BL. Not just you but what you percieve this whole board to view it as...

Now let me respond to your post...

"well then I guess this debate is over, since I do not believe it is a sin (I can't speak for everyone here, I but I don;t think anyone else does ...)"

Well let me ask you this then...the Bible...you know, that book you have yet to give ANY refrence to your own "beliefs" (Because that is what you are saying right? That you believe in Jesus) says that he died for your sins and rose from the grave. And under this blood that he shed for you...you believe that he allows BL? Correct me when I am wrong...

Really, if you are looking for biblical references, I cannot recall any saying that a particular orientation is considered being a sin.

Wow that is wierd that I have one. Are you guys really looking for one?
Mark 12:16-17

16 And they brought it. And he saith unto them, Whose is this image and superscription? And they said unto him, Caesar's. 17 And Jesus answering said unto them, Render to Caesar the things that are Caesar's, and to God the things that are God's. And they marvelled at him.

I believe, as most Christians do, that this passage instructs us that we should obey the law of the land unless it is in direct conflict with his teachings. Understand? Just because the Bible does not say we should not go 55 in a 45 does not give us permission to speed. And there are strick laws that apply to age of consent. Yes?

There is nothing wrong with being a boy lover, nothing sinful in itself.

I want to wait until you have completly decsribed this to me.

And as far as actions, biblical references on the sinfulness of that is also sketchy beyond the nothing-outside-of-marriage thingy.

Hmmmmm...this sounds sketchy?

Jude 7
"Even as Sodom and Gomorrha, and the cities about them in like manner, giving themselves over to fornication, and going after strange flesh, are set forth for an example, suffering the vengeance of eternal fire."

Or this...
(Romans 1:23-26)
. . . And changed the glory of the uncorruptible God into an image made like to corruptible man, and to birds, and fourfooted beasts, and creeping things. Wherefore God also gave them up to uncleanness through the lusts of their own hearts, to dishonour their own bodies between themselves: Who changed the truth of God into a lie, and worshipped and served the creature more than the Creator, who is blessed for ever. Amen. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature: And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. "

Actually, at the present time in our current society, I don;t believe that there should be a romantic relationship between a man and a boy - society will just end up hurting both members involved.

Is this ONLY because of your safety? If you were assured not to be punished by man you would agree with it?

I guess He most definitely COULD change us from being a BL.

Is it possible that he has given you insight to yourself in order to seek help? He doesn't just cure the alcoholics, drug users etc. He does provide help to them if they so choose. You hve noticed that something is different in you then the rest of the world but instead of searching the bible for leadership you rather stick your head in the sand and say "Jesus made me this way for a reason." I can only surmise this by your overwhelming lack of ANY scipture to back up your view.

The Jesus that you are talking about apparently said that our predisposition towards other humans is a sin. The Jesus we like to talk about is open to orientation

Again please provide something in scripture to back this up...PLEASE. You cannot just make things up as you go along.

Thus, being a more open view of Jesus, it would seem that this idea of Jesus is quite the opposite of being in a box, but rather being all loving and all encompassing. ... you might want to make sure your Jesus has some breathing holes in that box ya got him in.

The phrase "Putting Jesus in a box" is exactly as you have described. You look at the Bible and say...I like this part of Jesus and don't like this part of Jesus, and add this part of Jesus (that is made up) and then hold up this Mattel version of your Jesus...complete with the plastic covering.
