Hey C-Matty!
Nice to have ya here. Hope you stick around for a while.

Well, to answer your statement If you are under the impression that this is not a sin I guess this debate is over , well then I guess this debate is over, since I do not believe it is a sin (I can't speak for everyone here, I but I don;t think anyone else does ...).

Really, if you are looking for biblical references, I cannot recall any saying that a particular orientation is considered being a sin. There is nothing wrong with being a boy lover, nothing sinful in itself . Now, as far as lusting goes - ya thats a sin. But BLs aren't the only ones with lust problems. If I was miraculously converted to pure hetero over night, I would still lust over women too.

And as far as actions, biblical references on the sinfulness of that is also sketchy beyond the nothing-outside-of-marriage thingy. But I'm not here to debate that. Actually, at the present time in our current society, I don;t believe that there should be a romantic relationship between a man and a boy - society will just end up hurting both members involved. But once again, we have strayed from your initial preposition, which is that simply being a BL is a sin. I can't possibly see that. Our orientation can't possibly determine whether we are good or not - it is our actions by which we are judged (and thoughts in the case are actions too, in which sinful thoughts are bad). IE: there are many hetro rapists, just as there are BLers who have sex with children (which I view as harmful in this situation). But I do not say that being a hetro is a sin because it has the potential to lead to bad actions. Nor should you say being a BL is bad for the same reason.

How can you say that he cannot cure ANYTHING?

I didn't see him say that. but I've also been known to be crazy. But I sure don't believe that, and I am pretty sure youth agrees. God could do whatever he wants! Its what he chooses to do that makes the difference. God's power has no limits, but as he chose to gave us free will, he doesn't exercise that power completely (well, at least how I see it). Also, God is quite a bit smarter than us, not to mention omniscient. Thus even though we may ask for one thing, he may not grant it to us. I guess He most definitely COULD change us from being a BL. But, well, I haven't heard of any such cases, which leads me to think at least partially that God has a good reason for it.

Oh, I also think that Youth was just trying to put a little BL spirit in a really cool movie ;)

It seems like you are trying to put Jesus in a box...trying to conform him fit your lifestyle

Naw ... I think its quite the opposite. The Jesus that you are talking about apparently said that our predisposition towards other humans is a sin. The Jesus we like to talk about is open to orientation (please separate from actions and thoughts). Thus, being a more open view of Jesus, it would seem that this idea of Jesus is quite the opposite of being in a box, but rather being all loving and all encompassing. ... you might want to make sure your Jesus has some breathing holes in that box ya got him in.

Oh, and amazing quote. I really like it - I'll have to write that one down.

Talk to you soon ... look forward to the debate :D

Graces of God,
Deliverance
