These are not rational though processes. You make that claim without supporting it, much the say way I might claim "The grass is green" and expect you to just accept it without proof. This only works if the claim is truly obvious to everyone on its face. Your claim is not. On its own, without any backup, it has as much credibility as me telling a non-Christian "Jesus loves you." Please provide a logical argument, using universally accepted definitions, facts, and axioms (concepts) to support your claim. Remember, if any one person doesn't accept a claimed definition, fact, or axiom, then it is not universally accepted and must be proved by other facts or axioms that are universally accepted. In the grass is green argument, the best way to prove it is to define green as the color of certain wavelengths of light and present measurements from a spectrum analysis that shows the light reflected from the grass has mostly green wavelengths. If anyone in your audience doesn't accept the definition of green, then you aren't speaking the same language and this approach won't work. If they don't accept the axiom that the spectrum analyzer works then you'll have to go deeper and prove that the spectrum analyzer does what you say it does, until you "ground out" at a facts and axioms that are universally accepted. |
