My question to you about helping us was more rhetorical. There have been discussion boards like this one, chatrooms, and such since the begining of the internet. This place has been here for 8yrs. It has wond the test of time and legality though people have tried to get us permeanently shut down. We as a collective group have tried many ways to help ourselves. You will find many different kinds of people on these boards with different philosophies with people fromthe teens to 70s. None of us have found the holy grail, the reason why or a cure. After that long many of use say screw it and have decided to try to live the best we can as we are no matter what others think of us. As I said ealier yes I believe there is a gene I am born with or some other thing that is predetermined that made me this way.

All your sociology and psychology classes are partialy right. Events in childhood obviously can affect what we are are like as adults. Problem is like I said most peds I hav met were never molested. Other problem is that most of the experiments with pedophiles are only with those that offend. That makes sense because there is no way to do it otherwise, psychologists get us from prison and try to figure us all out. The results are very skewed like if you tried to draw conclusions about all Afircan Americans by the ones in prison. I can say I have met such a researcher and this person does not like it either but there was little she/he could do about it. There have actually been a few genuine reporters and psychologists come to ped boards with honest inquiry but not many and those are not respected in their field. If these practices were changed maybe their results would be different.

I'm not saying pedophilia is right or wrong but your statement is not a good argument that it isn't. Classic mistake and understandable, can't remember exactly what it is called right now. Lots of things have been hated for centuries but are now considered ok: people with dark skin, homosexuality, women working, etc. Also there are things that were at one time acceptable but through most of the world are not considered ok anymore: slavery, torture, beating your wife, etc. Some pedphiles are intelligent and/or educated just like others :) come up with better arguments.

Right now the only safe option we have is our online communites. After that maybe talking to each other via email or other things. MAYBE very carefully sometimes even meeting each other. And NOT for some pedophile ring thing but for friends that understand each other. These are very helpful things. If the current hysteria about people like me were not here then there are plenty of other things I would propose but that is not the case so there is no point. When we push for acceptance it is not always to have sex with your kids but so wwe don't get lynched (read Freak Safari this is not a hyperbalie, ped have been beat and killed for no actions) for our thoughts.

It's intersting that after one person, Doc Rivers, told the others at Freak Safari to be rational shortly after an admin there shut down the discussion. I am very much enjoying this as I have not been in a really good debate for awhile. Registering here is not dangerous. All you have to do is send an email to webmaster@cblf.org with your desired nick and password. You can use a one time use email address if you are worryed about us having it. The only reason I reccommend you be registered is so that you can continue to participate if we have to make it registered only due to troll activity. Also when not registered we sometimes have people use others' nicks to impersonate them and cause problems. I hope you stick around and continue this discussion.
