Compare the people here to alcoholics and what does that make this site?

First it does not mean putting fake beer in front of them.

This would be accurate if we had pictures of boys on our site which we do not. Other Boylove sites do that but ours does not. We do not have temptation like that here.

What it does do is discourage illegal behavior. Look at our responses to your friend Explosivo/John A Doe. Using your proposed analogy we are more like Alcoholics Anonymous than anything else. We reconize that we have a problem and that we cannot act on our desires but we also know from our collective experience that ignoring it will not make it go away but will only make it go away.

Go read the entire thread about our site and our people on FreakSafari. See all those insults? We know that people hate us and that we are considered less than human. Someone said they saw the movie "The Woodsman", I reccommend it. He was degraded and destroyed then acted out in self destructive ways. We are persucated for thought crime, not anything we do. People hate me for what is in my head not anything I have done.

To use your analogy, do you think it would be useful to help an alcoholic to degrade him and make him feel less than human just for his impulses even if he never once drinks? I should think your answer would be no. People who do this to us are acting from their gut reaction and societys blind hatred for us. In the end they are doing more harm to everyone than good.

Do that to a man for his entire life and see what kind of human being you get. It is not the pedophilia that makes a person messed up it is treatment like that their whole life.

This site, and some others like it, try to stop that cycle. We do NOT tell people that sex with children is ok but what we do is affrim is that they can live a good life without having sex with children. We cannot control the way we were born and can only control our thoughts to some degree but we can control our actions. I am human and I am sexual. I could be your son, brother, father, or best friend. I am a good person and do what I can to help others. Together we can help each other walk this path in the best Christian way possible.
