Cat is reaching out, putting his heart out in the open, taking the risk of being hurt deeply. He's reaching out to his wife and now hes reaching out to to the person who molested and confused him as a child, all for the sake of healing and obedience to God.

And all that this as*hat can do is tell him he's a liar? That's not a "view", that's a mockery of everything that Christianity is about, a mockery of even what it means to be a human being. It's an attack against my brother at his weakest point, and I will not stand by and say nothing.

In Luke, Jesus tells his disciples to buy swords, selling their shirts if need be.
Turning the other cheek means avoiding a duel, not letting people walk all over you. Christians are not supposed to just lie down when violence is staring them in the face, we're supposed to stand up and fight back when needed.
