Hmmm you have a strong point, and I need to pray about that, though I'm not sold on the idea yet. Something to brear in mind is that we are not our bodies (it is not what goes into a man that makes him unclean, but what comes out of a man) we are spirits, we merely have bodies through which we act on the physical world. The realm of ideas, the spiritual realm, is *more* real than the physical. (I'll defend this position if needbe.) This would suggest that sin is an act of the spirit, and that my original interpretation was not flawed, at least not at that level.
