It's quite normal IME. I've been a BL since I was a child myself basically (first YF at 11 (he was 6), if not earlier ).

I also can be attracted to women who are of a similar age to me.

That gives you both a blessing - because you maybe can get married to a woman of an appropriate age and hae a successful marriage, and a curse - you will find all sorts of things that say your BL attractions are bad.

Try to remember this as you go through life. The Lord made you or allowed you to become who you are. He has a reason for that. Give it up to Him and let Him deal with it.

Only Jesus can break this, and only by a miracle. I know. I've had some of the best therapists in the world work on me over the years, I've had research papers published based on me, I've had far more done to me - everything they can throw at me and I am still a BL. The best of man's abilities has failed with me, chances are good that they will fail with you.

Remember the Lord, and remember to follow His commandments and teachings, and you will do well in life (this one maybe not for you may not see all the fruit of your successes (or any fruit at all), but it is the next one that counts - treasure in Heaven) :-) ). All else is just distractions that serve to take us away from Jesus, our Lord and Saviour.
