Yeah, that's another of the issues with these drugs. They can only deal with the chemical side of things. If the reasons you can't control your urges are purely psychological, or (when we're talking about orientation) far more complicated than simple hormone balances, they don't do very much for the issue.

And yeah, these drugs have been around for a few decades. They were first used to "treat" homosexuals in the 50's. Few improvements have been made since then.
