Hello. I actually am an old poster. I forget what my old nick is off-hand, but I know that it was similar to this one. I can't get far enough back into the archives to find an old post of mine.

As my nick suggests, I have a special place in my heart for sandalboys. I miss the summertime. If there are other sandalboy fans on here, it would be good to hear from you.

I have been a Christian for most of my life. I grew stronger in God several years ago and then had to stop going to that church because a past sin was brought to knowledge.

There is another thread I looked at down this page about the sex-offender laws that we have now and how they affect people who don't have a re-offender mentality. I know first-hand how they affect people. There was mention of those like me 'taking one for the team to protect children from those worse people.' Well, the registries don't cause the lesser offenders to take one for the team. No, we take one, and another one, and another one, and another one..., for the team. There is never an end to the torment, abuse, property damage, joblessness, and family humiliation a lot of sex offender registrants get. I've had it pretty good compared to many, thanks to God. I did suffer from joblessness for a year and a half. I fear losing my current job if my past is ever revealed and having to wait another year or so for another place to hire me. My offense was almost 20 years ago, but because of sex offender registries, it's always as if it was yesterday.

Anyway, though right now I don't have to register anymore, my picture and description and name are still on a main list. Also, laws change constantly and I never know when registry will become mandatory for me again. I pray nightly that the US will get rid of all criminal labelling laws and registries because of the anti-Christianity of them.
