I think letters with personal info are dangerous things to give to kids. What if his parents found it.

Kids are not to be trusted to keep things in secure locations.

I wrote a letter to a yf when I was a teenager... it was horrible getting a call from his mum saying... "he doesn't really want to see you"

read it to him if you have to... but don't leave him with a copy.
