This is a big problem, especially in the U.S.. We seem to love sexual stuff, in the movies, magazenes, t.v....etc. But when it comes to actually talking to "our" kids about it, we just freeze up. We can tell a dirty joke, but to actually talk about real issues, well, thats out of the question. I saw a movie one time with a Japanese mom talking to her young son about sex. She very calmly explaned it to him in words and phrases he could understand. It was great! Now why can't we westerners do it like that?
