Just one more step away from the democratic principles our country was founded on over 200 years ago. Yes, I understand wanting to protect children - I'm all for it. Groups of people in general tend to be just stupid though.
Looks like big brother has been eating his Wheaties and is here to stay. I guess the only solution is to not get caught. That means avoiding things that are illeagle. Not a foolproof way, but it's the best we have. Any kid can make up a story, ya know. The best we can do is "avoid all apperance of evil" and live our lives above reproach. Just for fun: http://www.dumblaws.com/ Here are a few examples: One may not dye a duckling blue and offer it for sale unless more than six are for sale at once. It is illegal to wear a bullet-proof vest while committing a murder. It is against the law for a man to knit during the fishing season. Catapults may not be fired at buildings. One may only throw a stone at a bird in self-defense. A man can legally beat his wife, but not more than once a month. |
