Youth,
I'm reading some of these posts here, and some of them are very reactionary and read rather harshly. Please, take the time to step back and breathe before you think about what they're saying. They have valid points from their perspective, and their points may in fact be relevant to your situation, but only you can be sure of that. I still have hope (again based on my experience) that you can have a good relationship with this boy that lasts and becomes a wonderful friendship (regardless of the future sexual content of that relationship), but it is a narrow line, narrower than the path to heaven itself. Take care with things that may endanger him, you, or your relationship. Read the relevant laws in your state ( www.ageofconsent.com and the legal website for your state) and stay within them. And above all, always always encourage him as you did to consider himself equal in 'power' in your relationship and strive to honor his wishes as though they were God's own decrees. That is the narrow path you are hoping to walk, and I am praying for you and your YF that you can walk it with faith and power.
