God's NT judgement

Pitir.... remember Ananias and Saphairas who were struck dead for lying to the Holy Spirit.... Remember 1 Cor 11 where many are weak and sick and even dead in the church because of the unworthy manner in which they broke bread.

Remember Gal 6 where we are told God is not mocked a man will reap as he sows. Rember Peter saying, It's now time for judgement to begin with the house of God.

I think that whilst I did quote an OT judgement... there is definately a NT judgement... not a salvation one... but certianly a works one... and I think it fits very well with this OT Psalm... with God handing pepole over to their sins (see Romans 1 and 6).

Comfortable with sin... well... of course I have my Christian conviction and dislike for sinfulness generally... but when the old man is dominant.... well sin is enjoyable :S

I have a small problem with "we are put here to love these kids... we're wired for the job"
it is this...
If I heard a hetro guy say he was "put here to love women... that he was wired for the job"... well I'd be suspicious. I'd think that his sexual motivation was a bit ... well... more in control than he might be admitting.

I will admit that my affinity for boys is as much about me wanting to "be" one as "have" one. A significant difference between me and a hetro guy I'm sure. Still... is that really my calling? to be a gift to kids? I don't know.

Blessings,
Cat.
