Your option 4 is pretty much what I meant by option 3.

God allows it... but its not ideal.

God's will is a tricky subject.

If He's all knowing and all powerful... if He's going to make a new heavens and new earth in which righteousness dwells...then why not start with that?

Why allow sin in the first place? What was the point?

Unfortunately Scriputre don't answer that question for us. The closest we get is Romans 9 and I ain't about to start trying to untangle that now (too tired).

Point is... God does ALLOW sin.... and in that sense He WANTS it in the world. and in that sense HE "allows/wants" me to be minor attracted.

Lastly, whilst I agree that God isn't too fussed about our attractions (since I don't beleive attraction alone is sinful)... how hard is it NOT TO ACT ON OUR ATTRACTIONS!

Comes back to my final conclusion... we are up for a big fight!
