I'm glad you have a YF to love. But I want to add a bit of a warning. When you say that thinking of him gives you a reason to get up in the morning, that waves a red flag at me. The red flag is in the form of "been there, done that, suffered from it." It sounds like your friendship might be becoming a bit of an obsession for you. Unfortunately, I don't have any words of wisdom on how to avoid it. I've been down that path and still haven't figured out a way around it. I just wanted to warn you about possible heartache in your future. Maybe someone else can offer tips on how to keep it from becoming obsessive.
