I posted here a few months ago, and since then I've been lurking, I don't post often.

However, I've been struggling with an issue, and need some guidance.

The base of the matter is: I've fallen out of touch with the Lord - I don't feel him, hear him, etc in any aspect of my life.

This being said, I'm a Christian, used to go to church, but even though I always BELIEVED he was there, I've never felt him (much less believed he loved me).

I want to change that; I want to not feel silly praying (thinking it will never be answered).

any hints/tips/questions/advice would be definitely appreciated.

Sorry if it sounds like a shallow post, I promise I'm usually more articulate. I'm heading to bed after a long day of work with another long day ahead.
