Otherwise GREAT advice - though I think I'd be more positive about the potential for having a YF to rebuild your appreciation for life. But yes, certainly get out there and do stuff and 'get a life'; everyone's got a lot to give if only we find the right context to do it, and finding a safe way to meet boys by being a volunteer in community activities may well be good for you to do and something where you will be great for the boys you get to befriend.
