When I was a teen I had two yfs I was totally in love with. I told them both.

They both accepted it and we stayed friends, overall they both trusted me not to make passes or moves on them and I didn't... overall (/gulp).

Circumstances eventually took them away from me while they were both still boys.... broke my heart. For certain in one case... having him know how I felt meant that, once he moved he decided not to keep in touch :( (or maybe his parents intercepted the letter I wrote him - I was so stupid when I was a teen!!!).

Anyway... despite my regrets.... I'm glad I could tell them how I felt. My current yf knows I adore and love him (though I haven't mentioned sexual stuff at all.... he see's I'm married with kids and I suppose he just assumes I'm straight, despite the evidence to the contrary).

I'm glad it went so well for you bro and I hope it keeps on into the future.
