I also feel we are indeed lead and moved by our thoughts and passions to do or not do what has come to be in our mind and heart.

It is therefore important that like a seed or seeds we come to have them and use them. God's Word is like that; and this is what Cain had to deal with.

I think it's a matter of how we see Right and good, and Wrong and bad things.
