You've quoted a great many verses that contain the word 'lust', but I don't think I'm any closer to understanding what the word means in practical terms.

For example, if a guy has sexual thoughts or fantasies about his girlfriend ... is that lust? If a guy has sexual thoughts or fantasies about an imaginary girl ... is that lust? If a guy has sexual thoughts or fantasies about a desired future spouse (real or imaginary) in a future God-honoring marriage ... is that lust?

It seems the question "what is lust?" is more complicated than you make it out to be.

I would love to hear everyone's thoughts on the question!!

[I expect I might be doing a study on the topic with my YF at some point in the near future. I know it's an issue on his mind a lot.]
