yes I do agree with you there. its something we will never know. It might be that the reason we are attracted to boys is because of problems that others have caused in our past. That leads to another point of course which actually is pretty central: sins visited upon us then become our burden to carry, just as Jesus carried them: we are called to share that burden with him so that we do not pass them on to others (through abuse etc.)
