How can you say that by being in the military you are 'serving your country'? Assuming, 'Nash', by this you mean being a soldier how does this equate with your Christianity? A soldier is the most socially useless and destructive job in society. The only justification for it is that it earns you a wage and keeps the wolf from the door. If that is the case it just goes to show how the ethics of this cockeyed society place so much on economics. Jesus was supposedly the 'Prince of Peace' yet the Church blesses military weapons, carries out solemn services for the dead from Afghanistan and utters very little opposition to these wars.
