The accusation of grooming came from a Born Again Christian who my yf was working for at the time. When he then came to convert me: in reply to his questioning about why I had never married, I let it slip that my orientation was geared towards young boys!! I thought I could trust him in confidentiality, but instead my narration apparently left him sleepless for the next three nights until he finally telephoned me to say that he had warned my yf, and his mother, about me, and was even thinking he should inform the police.

Using the wisdom I received from our "Cat", I went to visit my yf's mother and, after a chat, she made it clear that she would continue to trust me exactly as "Cat" believed she would.

Thank you "Cat", and yes, it has been a most liberating experience as you said it might be.

Perhaps I should therefore also thank the Born Again Christian!
