response to BigCalv on 'common sense' anatomy

"There are many scriptures both old and new testament, which should lead you to understand that same-gender sexual relations are sinful - it does not matter if they are casual, long-term, abusive, etc...
The design of genitalia alone leads to understanding of natural sexual expression
Oh for some common sense!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Jesus said that impure imaginations also need to be confessed and repented of - He desires to make us holy in all parts of our being - spirit, soul and body."

The four or so scriptures that relate to same-gender sexual relations add up to a case against surrogate exploitation, but not against loving relationships.

The other four or so scriptures that praise marriage as an idealistic archetype are realistic archetypes that apply to those capable of them, not idiotic prescriptions of impossible relationships to those who are differently constituted. God is not stupid.

Human anatomy is so constructed that the three major types of gay sex acts work just fine. If you want teleology, though, rather than just good function, one of the two major organs of male sexual pleasure, the prostate gland, can only be stimulated by receptive anal sex. How curious that there's something of great pleasure in the body that is exclusively activated by a gay sex act.

Yes, I know men don't get pregnant and have kids. But neither do infertile women, or women over menopause, and no one tells them not to have loving sexual relationships.

This may be harsh, but it has to be said: holiness really does require going beyond cliche to the profundity of love.
